Spring emerges on Canada's Atlantic Coast, the trees bright emerald green and bursting with energy. Nestled in along the coast, the days grow longer at Birchy Head. As the evenings warm, one looks forward to a fine glass of pinot grigio sitting on the deck, just watching the set of the sea, refreshed by the salt water, feeling the settling of the day.

A sense of adventure always seems to tickle the air in the mornings out here. You feel this kind tug in the atmosphere, calling you the nooks and crannies of the South Shore, filled with little antique shops, quaint cafes and some delightful restaurant. Or perhaps a fine seafood chowder in the town of Mahone Bay at the Happy Cooker restaurant? Fresh haddock, lobster and Digby scallops!
